Since 2000 Ruphin Coudyzer has done photography for AVMIN (Anglovaal Mining). These are some of the
photographs taken on the premises of three of their mines : TARGET GOLDMINE near Welkom,
ASSMANG CHROME MINE in Machadodorp and BLACK ROCK near Kimberley.
He also does work for HARMONY GOLD MINING COMPANY and SA CHROME.

In the newly reinstated 2004 PPSA Profoto Awards -Industrial Category- he entered nine of these images and scooped one Gold, one Silver, two Bronze and one Highly Commended Award.  He also won the Portfolio Category in this section with a Silver Award.
